Today, 3 people were indicted in Almendria on a criminal conspiracy. The charges included racketeering, attempt to commit a crime, possession of illegal substances, continuing a criminal enterprise and small-scale distribution.
The indictment against them alleged that the defendants – named by their initials as ZM, HW and JH – ran a criminal organization named the Almendrian Cartel, with ZM leading it under the alias “Señor Azul” (with ZM spelling “Señor” as “Senior”).
It also states that HW and JH were previously involved in the Zepranan cartel – which has been the subject of much Almendrian lore – that JH had continued to involve himself in criminal enterprise after being involved in the Zepranan and Negrostani cartels, and that – underneath the Almendrian cartel – the three were involved in the production & distribution of methamphetamine, as well as violent crimes against rival groups.
The indictment comes after ZM had turned himself in to the USR government, and admitted to Terry McKeen to going under the alias Señor Azul, telling him, “I committed a crime”. After a trial was scheduled for ZM for 2 July, the indictment was released for him and the other 2 defendants.
The following statement was given out in regards to the indictment by Johann Kümmel:
In regards to the…trial, the follow charges are issued for [ZM] (who goes by various aliases), [HW] and [JH], in regards to a criminal organization based in Almendria. This organization has been alleged to engage in various crimes for monetary gain, including drug production & trafficking and attempted murder.
Johann Kümmel, 13 June 2023
It is not known if HW and JH are to have their trials on the same date as ZM or if they are to have separate trial dates.
